I have struggled through most of my life with body image in one way or another. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the torment that was caused in Jr. High by the “mean girls” calling me Sausage because my legs apparently represented the fat in sausage. But the funny thing is, it didn’t make want to stop eating, I used eating as my emotional breakthrough, so to speak. But here I am now. In a persnickety situation because there is one thing I do know:

I already know that I am not a healthy size, so I am not going to burn my hours during the day trying to battle that, but rather focus on leading a healthier life style. Eating correctly and losing weight will be a result. So, my blog will document the ups, downs, frustrations and celebrations of learning to lead a healthier life.

  1. *I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
